DRYLAND PROGRAM

It’s imperative that you keep exercising while away from the rink. Follow a daily routine and you will be physically conditioned for the coming season. Try to shoot between 300-500 pucks per day.

You DO NOT have to do ALL these exercises each day. Pick and choose your workout to get variety in your weekly routines. The most important thing is to be active and healthy. Combine these programs with healthy eating and proper rest for best results!

Players should avoid excessive on-ice skating while working through your summer program. 1 HOUR of weekly on-ice skating is sufficient to maintain your timing and finer tuning your skills. Increase your ice time in the weeks/days prior to start of camp.

MEET THE COACH

MYLES HARVEY, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Daily strength and conditioning workouts are led by Myles Harvey. Harvey was one of a few players from Florida to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey with a scholarship at Providence College. After a pro career (AHL & ECHL), Myles has worked extensively in player skill and strength development of aspiring hockey players.
